01 — Disability support

Friends of KDSP

Pakistan · Karachi

A U.S. partner of the Karachi Down Syndrome Program, which has, since 2014, grown to serve more than 2,000 individuals and families across three facilities in Karachi. KDSP provides therapy, schooling, vocational training, and the unglamorous, daily work of helping families build a life around a child the system was not built for.

02 — Hunger relief

WCK shows up first and stays late. Their model — embrace chaos, hire locally, feed everyone — turns disaster response into community employment. We support the general fund, which is the part of the work no single emergency pays for.

03 — Refugee education

The Azraq Center

Jordan · South Azraq

Two hundred and forty-five students, pre-K through Level 8, in a small rural town where nearly half the population is a refugee. The Center teaches Arabic, English, Math, Science, IT, Art, and Music — five days a week, in conditions most schools could not run a single day in.

04 — Emergency relief & education

International Aid Charity (IAC)

USA · Chicago, multiple

Since 2017, IAC has served marginalized communities through emergency relief, education, orphan sponsorship, and partnerships with local food efforts like Chi-Care. We support their education and housing programs.

05 — Refugee resettlement

Burmese Rohingya Community of Georgia

USA · Atlanta, GA

A community-based nonprofit promoting self-sufficiency and equity for immigrants, refugees, and the underprivileged through health, social services, advocacy, and interfaith partnership. The work is the building of a community where one was not allowed to exist.

06 — Orphan care

GiveLight Foundation

Global

GiveLight builds and sustains homes for children who have lost parents to disaster, war, or extreme poverty. Their staff live where they work; the children grow up in a real family, not an institution. We fund their higher-education scholarship.

07 — Health & community

Inner-City Muslim Action Network

IMAN runs a holistic health center in inner-city Atlanta — primary, behavioral, and oral care alongside arts, organizing, housing, and job training. The premise is that health is something a community produces, not a clinic dispenses.

08 — Food security & equity

Global Growers Network

Global Growers partners with farmers from refugee and immigrant backgrounds to grow fresh food for their families and local markets in Georgia. Land, training, and a path to running a farm of their own.
